CANI and Keller Development  co-hosted an open-house and ribbon-cutting ceremony, May 21 at 8033 Community Lane, in celebration of the completion of Hopewell Pointe in Waynedale.

The community is the first of its kind in Fort Wayne. All of the homes in the Hopewell Pointe subdivision offer a lease-to purchase option after 15 years. In addition to the houses, there is a community building, pavilion, walking paths and other amenities. The Fort Wayne development is located in the 1900 block of Reservation Drive in the community of Waynedale.

In addition to other criteria, residents must income-qualify. The program is designed to provide an incentive for residents to stay long-term.

All units are currently leased, but those interested can get on the waiting list. (See Leasing information)
